Why not come and look around a traditional town house (the former Kuramata tea store)?

The former Kuramata tea store was built 85 years ago, in 1933, but the store began business in the Edo Period. It is now a “Machiya museum”, exhibiting objects which tell us about life in Itoigawa in the old days, including “Hina-Ningyou” (Japanese hina dolls for “Hina-matsuri”). Please drop in after a delicious dinner!
糸魚川シーフード・シャトルバスの運行に協力して、旧倉又茶舗の夜間公開をいたします。
町屋博物館としての常設展示のほかに、まゆだま飾りや７段かざりのひな人形の展示などもお楽しみください。
また、井戸の手押しポンプでの水汲み体験や角巻を着たり、下駄を履く体験もできます。
けん玉、だるま落としなどの昔遊びや紐のコマ、羽根つきなどもできます。
入場無料。体験無料。
シャトルバス乗客にかぎらず、どなたでもどうぞ。
